A two days in-situ capacity building workshop, with a special focus on human wildlife conflict was organised at Bandhavgarh by the the GTF, in collaboration with the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) and Madhya Pradesh Forest Department on 23 and 24 December 2021.
The workshop themes were designed keeping in mind the multi-tasking routine of a field frontline protecting our natural heritage. The modules were highly interactive and gave an opportunity to the participants to refine their basic on-field skills, while building a pool of spearhead trainees for meeting day to day challenges in tiger bearing areas.
Bandhavgarh is the first of the four selected tiger reserves where the said training has been organised.
