The Global Tiger Forum (GTF) commends the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve for establishing a well-equipped Master Control Room to strengthen the monitoring and management of human–wildlife conflict. Developed through a collaborative effort of the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department, WWF-India, and GTF, the facility serves as a centralized platform for receiving, monitoring, and coordinating real-time information on wildlife movement and conflict incidents. By enabling faster communication and timely response among field staff and forest officials, the initiative is expected to significantly enhance conflict mitigation, improve public safety, and contribute to more effective wildlife conservation.
