The Global Tiger Forum (GTF) participated in the workshop on “Ecological Fiscal Transfers (EFT) as a Tool to Finance Biodiversity, Climate and Nature Action – An India-led International Dialogue”, organised by IORA Ecological Solutions.
Speaking during the workshop, Head-Programme & Partnerships, GTF emphasised that the future of Ecological Fiscal Transfers lies in delivering measurable conservation outcomes supported by robust ecological indicators, dedicated investment planning units, transparent monitoring mechanisms, and stronger cross-sector collaboration. He highlighted that such an integrated approach is essential for strengthening conservation financing and ensuring long-term biodiversity and climate resilience.
